Enjoy a Waterfront Lunch at BLU On The Water
One of the highlights of summer is enjoying a satisfying meal or refreshing drinks outdoors. The East Greenwich bay provides an excellent backdrop to enjoy the sun, fresh air and a delicious meal. We know how hard it is to leave the AC sometimes, but especially in these summer months, dining by the breezy water offers a cool and refreshing alternative to staying indoors for lunch. BLU On The Water serves sumptuous seafood specialties, grilled steaks and much more at our scenic waterfront location.
We have just released our summer lunch menu, which offers some great new dishes and lunch options that are sure to please! From “Social Plate” appetizers to sandwiches, salads, and soups, BLU On The Water’s new menu is covered in flavors of all kinds. Some of our best dishes include:

The lunch menu starts with some of our favorite appetizers including clam cakes and chowder, bacon wrapped scallops and our fresh crab cakes. For a more substantial appetizer, try our generous portion of calamari or mussel frites seasoned with white wine, garlic butter chives and a side of truffle parmesan fries perfect to share!
For a lighter option, pair one of our delicious soups with a fresh garden salad. Our chowders are a lunch favorite with a choice between a Manhattan style clam chowder and a New England chowder. For a substantial and refreshing salad to enjoy by the water we have unique flavors and options. Enjoy a pear gorgonzola salad or a caprese salad prepared with ripe tomatoes, fresh mozzarella basil and a balsamic glaze. Want to eat light but are craving fresh seafood? Try our salmon quinoa, seared ahi tuna or lobster salad served with our house vinaigrette.
Entrees Perfect for Lunch
Starters are followed by Baja fish tacos, pulled pork sandwiches, BLU burgers and New England “lobstah” roll along with other goodies for a real taste of Rhode Island. Our raw bar boasts delicious seafood platters including oysters served four ways — chilled, grilled, fried and in Champagne-filled half shells.
Lighter fish dishes offer a variety of entrees such as baked stuffed cod, blackened salmon and open faced tuna and Swiss served on marbled rye. These entrees are perfectly paired with a fresh watermelon arugula salad or lobster bisque. Seafood, salads and a range of burgers will satisfy those with a craving for meat.
